LLP "South-West Research Institute of Livestock and Crop Production" is a subsidiary of "National Agrarian Science and Educational Center" JSC. In modern conditions of intensification of agricultural production in the southwestern region of Kazakhstan, the scientific support in all areas of the agricultural sector is a key area of ​​the Institute's activities.

The scientists of the Institute are engaged in the development of intensive technologies for the production of livestock and crop production in modern conditions of agricultural production development.

Today, the “South-West Research Institute of Livestock and Crop Production” LLP, according to the approved plan, carries out all spring-field work in full.

On sown areas (9 ha) the original seeds of spring wheat of the Pamyat-47 variety were sown, of which reproductions were P-1 3 ha; P-2 - 3 ha; P-3 - 3 ha.

On sown areas, the original seeds of spring barley of the Baysheshek variety (104 ha) were sown on time, of which reproductions P-1 - 12 ha, P-2 - 22 ha, R-3 - 70 ha.

In order to improve the fertility of lands on 10 hectares of production sown areas, the seeds of fodder culture of alfalfa were sown according to crop rotation standards.

364 hectares of grain sown in the fall of the “Steklovidnaya-24” and “Pamyat-47” varieties were timely treated with ammonium nitrate.

Until the beginning of April, a safflower was sown on an area of 50 hectares.
