On May 14, 2020, under the chairmanship of the Vice-minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gulmira Issayeva, an interagency working meeting was held on the project "Program for the sustainable development of livestock in Kazakhstan." The meeting was held in a video conference format.

On behalf of NASEC, the meeting was attended by E. Satenbayev, Director of the Department for Science and Education, Marat Jadayev, Director of the Department for Knowledge Dissemination and Dana Borumbayeva, Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Investments attraction.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Ecology of the RK, the Ministry of Economy of the RK and the Ministry of Finance of the RK.

During the meeting was discussed the following topics: the issue of the proposed World Bank loan for the Sustainable Livestock Development Program in Kazakhstan, environmental and social systems assessment (ESSA), fiduciary systems assessment (FSA), program operational manual (POM) and verification mechanisms.

Upon completion of the discussion by the World Bank, a protocol of technical discussions will be prepared and submitted to the Vice-minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulmira Issayeva for consideration and approval.
