In the breeding greenhouse of the “Kainar” Regional Branch of “Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute” LLP, the greenhouse was prepared, the soil treated with a 2% of fundazole.
“Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute” LLP is a subsidiary of the “National Agrarian Science and Educational Center” JSC. As part of the spring field work, scientists prepared the seed material of tomato and sowed seedlings.
Drawing 1-Sowing of tomato varieties
In the seedling greenhouse the tomato seedlings (24 samples) and 2 samples in the nursery of SVT were treated daily: feeding, plating, and watering.
Until the seedlings appeared completely, the soil was kept moist. For this purpose, after sowing the seeds, the cassettes were covered with plastic wrap.
The seedlings were fertilized with ready-made water-soluble fertilizer.

Seedlings were planted for a permanent place in the greenhouse on 27 February, 2020, 24 samples in the adaptation nursery and 2 samples in the nursery of the SVT.
Tomato seedlings and plants were maintained in the greenhouse daily: dressing to the spar, pinching, plant formation, the phenological observations and biometric measurements were carried out (during the flowering phase, the formation of fruits, the beginning of ripening). The registration of diseased plants, the dynamics of the growth of diseases was carried out.

The scientists prepared the seed material of the cucumber. The sowing cucumber samples in a greenhouse for a permanent place in the trays (seedling method) were carried out on 27 February, 2020.
Daily conducted crop care, watering, sprinkling. 10-12 days after the appearance of mass seedlings, fertilizing with complex organic and mineral fertilizer Gummat + 7 was carried out (at the rate of 1 g per 10 liters of water). Phenological observations were carried out (seedlings - single 10%, mass - 75%, the appearance of the first and fifth true leaf).
Drawing 1-2. Cucumber adaptation nursery.
Daily care for planting is carried out, biometric measurements and phenological observations are carried out as well. Cucumber plants are tied to the spar as they grow, cucumber plants are formed - the moustache is removed, lateral shoots are blinded to the 3rd node. In the nursery adaptation of tomato and cucumber single and mass flowering are noted.
