The variety is mid-season, the growing season is 260-275 days, ripens 2-3 days later than Zhetysu. Winter hardiness is average, resistant to lodging and shedding. Above average drought tolerance is good. The variety is resistant to yellow and brown rust, as well as medium resistant to Septoria.
Straw low (90-110 cm), strong, resistant to lodging. The stalk is medium thick, durable.
By grain quality it refers to valuable wheat: protein content in grain 17%, raw gluten 36%, flour strength 275 e.a., bread volume 850 ml, total baking score - 3.6 points for Zhetysu standard, respectively: 16%, 34 %, 271 e.a., 890 ml, 3.7 points.
Since 2009, the variety "MAYRA" is approved for use in the Kzylorda region.
