On January 29, 2020 the first Deputy Chairman of the Board of NASEC JSC Yessenbai Islamov was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University. The new Board of Directors also included the First Deputy Governor of West Kazakhstan region Mukhtar Mankeyev.

Five issues were discussed at the meeting of the Board of Directors of Zhangir Khan University, including the summary of the University 's activities for 2019 and the work plan of the Council for the forthcoming period.

Among the main scientific results of last year were the creation and development by university scientists of a system of model farms (akzhaikskaya and edilbayevskaya sheep breed), a base of a model farm for meat cattle breeding, a mechanism of smart farm in dairy and meat production and sheep farming, technology of creation of cultural and winter pastures, a nursery for homeless cats and dogs.

As part of the innovative development of business processes and the expansion of academic freedoms, the university changed the social management system, created 5 institutes and 15 higher schools, introduced a new salary system, etc.

During the discussion of the main issues, the members of the Council made a number of proposals, which will be taken into account in the implementation of new projects of the University in all areas of activity.

At the end of the meeting, the Rector of the Zhangir Khan University Askar Skatov congratulated Yessenbai Israilovich and Mukhtar Nauryzbayevich on his election to the Board of Directors and handed over to all members of the Board name badges symbolizing the new brand of the University.

During the visit to Zhangir Khan Univertsity, E.Islamov visited scientific laboratories, aquaculture laboratory, veterinary clinic, Agrotechhab, ecological nursery for saiga breeding in artificial conditions and social facilities of the university, as well as got acquainted with the activities of the experimental and production farm "Akzhaik" (Taskalinsky district), on the basis of which scientists of the university created model farms. E.Islamov noted the positive dynamics of development of scientific activity of Zhangir Khan University. “Today, new projects are being successfully implemented in University and it is gratifying that this gives a significant effect on infrastructure changes in real time,” said E. Islamov.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Board of NASEC JSC also visited the "Ural SHOS" LLP, where he got acquainted with the management team, scientists and employees, as well as new agricultural equipment, infrastructure and activities of scientific departments, scientific and production sites.
