Spring field work in Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute

In the regional branch of the Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute - "Talgar" spring field work is underway. The Kazakh Fruit and vegetable Research Institute is a subsidiary of the “National Science and Educational Center” JSC, which conducts fundamental and applied research in the field of breeding, nursery, agricultural technology, biotechnology, phytopathology and entomology, aimed at solving the most important problems and tasks of the development of the horticulture industry.

Spring field work in Kazakh Fruit and vegetable Research Institute has been carried out since the third decade of February of 2020. The total area of ​​the regional branch “Talgar” is 139 hectares.

Thus, the branch specialists pruned trees in an orchard on an area of ​​80 hectares (apples, pears, plums, apricots, grapes).

Scientists of the Institute also made chemical treatment against a wintering stock of scab and a wintering stock of diseases. The processing was carried out by Carbamide, which is at the same time a nitrogen fertilizer. Processing work took place on an area of 58 hectares.

In field 2 of the nursery, was done pruning. Row weeding is carried out. And also wild haircuts are made.

As part of the program to combat bacterial burns of pome crops, a meeting was held in the garden of the “Talgar” regional branch, headed by the chairman of the Ministry of Agriculture committee, Mars A.M. and the akim of the Talgar region Omarov Zh.Y., and other guests.
