Thus, on March 30, 2020, Toleutai Rakhimbekov went live in the Instagram account of NASEC and conducted an online consultation for agricultural producers as well as talked about the progress of spring field work in subsidiaries of NASEC.

“This year, subsidiaries of the “National Agrarian Science and Educational Center” JSC are planning to sow crops on an area of ​​118 201.5 ha, which is 1.7 thousand ha more than in 2019,” - T. Rakhimbekov said.

“In the sowing structure of agricultural crops of NASEC subsidiaries, the area of ​​sowing of original seeds is planned for 45 771.6 ha (38.7%), seeds of elite and RI, II and III - 49 320.1 ha (41.7%), marketable grain - 23 109.8 ha (19.6%),” T. Rakhimbekov added.

For timely sowing of crops, schedules of spring field works have been drawn up in terms of subsidiaries. Thus, according to the schedule, of the 26 subsidiaries engaged in production activities, sowing of crops are planned within the following terms:

- 1.03.2020 - 15.06.2020 in 11 subsidiaries (southern regions) on an area of 13,570.6 hectares,

- 24.04.2020- 30.05.2020 in 2 subsidiaries (western regions) on an area of 9,528.5 hectares,

- 25.04.2020 - 01.06.2020 in 1 subsidiary (eastern region) on an area of 3,233 hectares,

- 10.05.2020- 8.06.2020 in 12 subsidiaries (northern regions) on an area of 90,852.5 hectares.

As of March 30, 2020, the southern region has already sown 8,181.3 hectares (60%) of the planned sowing of 13,570.6 hectares.

At the same time, sowing of the main crops is planned for April-May months of the current year in such subsidiary organizations of the NASEC as KazNII of cotton growing, KazNII of rice growing, KazNII of fruit and vegetable production, Experimental farm “Toguskenskiy”, Experimental farm “Merkenskiy”.
