On 121 hectares of irrigated land of the “Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Cotton Growing” LLP, a complete winter leaching of harmful salts in the soil was carried out.

Since March 15, rake works have been carried out to preserve soil moisture.

Starting from April 5-6, 2020, it is planned to start agrotechnical work on pre-sowing tillage. The “Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Cotton Growing” LLP is equipped with modern high-performance equipment for timely work on pre-sowing tillage.

The Institute has a sufficient supply of fuel and spare parts. All equipment, including seeders and special tractors, are ready for sowing work.

This year, the “Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Cotton Growing” LLP have sown 40 hectares of land with irrigated alfalfa in accordance with the crop rotation scheme, and 6 hectares are planned to be sown with corn.

The Institute’s scientists have developed “Recommendations for spring sowing in the irrigated conditions of the Turkestan region”. These recommendations were distributed at training seminars for cotton growers of the Turkestan region.

This year, the Institute provided seed farms and farmers with cotton seeds of varieties M-4011 and M-4017, which adapted to the climatic conditions of an internal, competitive local area.
