On April 14, 2020, experts of the Kazakh National Agrarian University held an online consultation for farmers on the topic: "Modern technologies in crop production: new approaches and solutions."

The Chairman of the Board of the “National Agrarian Science and Educational Center” JSC, academician of KazNANS, Doctor of Economics Toleutai Rakhimbekov initiated online consultations for farmers in all regions of Kazakhstan. The head of the NASEC, called on all agricultural scientists, as well as the leaders of the NASEC’s subsidiaries to provide all possible support to agricultural producers during the spring field work. In turn, rural entrepreneurs with interest and gratitude accepted the support of agricultural scientists and actively participate in the online broadcasts of the NASEC, not missing the unique opportunity to receive answers directly from the agrarian scientists and the leading experts in the agricultural industry.

The online consultation was chaired by the rector of KazNAU, Doctor of Economics, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tlektes I. Yespolov. During the broadcast, 8 best experts, leading scientists - corresponding members of the NAS of the Republic of Kazakhstan, directors of research institutes, heads of departments, such as Kenenbayev C. B., Aitbayev T. E., Kaldybayev S. K., Kubenkulov K. K., Ryspekov T.R. and others made speeches. Scientists made recommendations on specific issues of farmers from various regions of the republic. In particular, North Kazakhstan, Aktobe, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Almaty and South Kazakhstan regions.

Farmers are given comprehensive answers to their problematic questions that exist on their farms. Scientists answered farmers' questions in such areas as providing elite seeds with grains and vegetables, compiling agrochemical cartograms of farm territories and their cost, fertilizing, the condition of pastures and their degradation, features of saline and eroded soils of the arable lands of the foothill plains of the south-eastern part of the republic and measures to improve their fertility.

In view of the high interest in this consultation by farmers, as well as their many questions, the moderator asked scientists to send detailed answers to farmers in writing form.
