In the fields of A.I.Barayev Scientific-production center for grain farming began the sowing campaign of 2020. The plans include working on a precision farming landfill with an area of 3,000 hectares, producing original seeds, sowing cereals, legumes, oilseeds and fodder crops at experimental hospitals, sowing new promising varieties at a permanent demonstration site, laying demonstration experiments on innovative agricultural technologies.1

The main strategic objective of the early spring field work is to preserve the accumulated moisture by the time of sowing and use it effectively. To prevent unproductive loss of moisture, it is necessary to carry out the recommended agrotechnical measures in a timely manner: closing moisture, leveling backgrounds with chaffing. Therefore, in the fields for moisture closure, a new high-performance complex is operating as part of the John Deere tractor with a heavy spring harrow with a working width of 21 m for processing 1365 ha of chill. Also on the fields, early spring harrowing is carried out by complexes with K-701 tractors, agricultural machinery is operating in experimental hospitals. The machine operators started sowing perennial grasses, so today seed sowing sainfoin on an area of 20 hectares has already been laid.

Over the past two years, the Center has significantly updated its machine and tractor fleet, so the Center’s employees are confident that the spring-field work will take place at the recommended time with high quality.

LLP "Scientific and Production Center for Grain Farming" named after A.I. Barayev is a subsidiary of the “National Agrarian Science and Educational Center” JSC and a major scientific center of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of agriculture and crop production.
