The winter durum wheat variety "KAZAKHSTAN AMBER" was developed in the Kazakh research institute of agriculture and Plant growing. The variety is winter-hardy, drought-resistant.

The authors of the variety are Urazaliyev R.A. and Ashirbayeva S.A.

Variety: Caerulescens.

Description of variety: Average height 100 cm, does not lodging, the spike is black, pubescent, fusiform, 7-8cm, long spines, white grain.

Vitreousness 98%, raw gluten content 33.8%, Total pasta rating 4.4 points.

Average yield 57.8 c/ha.

Admitted to use since 2010 in Almaty region.
