The variety of winter triticale "AZIADA" was bred at the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing.

The authors of the variety are Urazaliyev R.A., Ainebekova B.A., Kozhakhmetov K.K., Zhangaziyev A.S. and Sarbayev A.T.

Description of the variety: Ear is white. Stem of medium length, strong. Leaves are green, medium width.

The grain is large, elongated, red. The weight of 1000 grains was 57.2 g against the standard 52.4 g., Productive artisanal 3.3, plant height 120cm.

The variety is mid-season, the growing season is 275-277 days. Winter hardiness is high 90-100%. Resistant to lodging and hard smut, slightly susceptible to yellow, stem and brown rust.

The lysine content varies from 3.8-3.96%.

Variety: erythrospermum.

The AZIADA triticale variety has been approved for use since 2013 in Almaty, Zhambyl and South Kazakhstan regions.
