Scientists of the subsidiary organization of the “National Agricultural Scientific and Educational Center” JSC – Scientific production center of agricultural engineering have developed a new chisel subsoiler.

In the technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops, in order to improve the water-air regime, autumn and spring moisture accumulation and destruction of the plow sole, it is recommended that deep loosening of the soil with chisel subsoilers to a depth of 45 cm is recommended once every 3-4 years. When using existing machines for deep loosening in the soil subsoil ridges are formed, the volume of which is 40-60%. The presence of subsoil ridges with a soil density of 1.7-1.9 g / cm3 prevents the development of the root system of plants. The lack of harvest in the fields due to the oppressive effect of the plow sole and subsoil ridges can be 30-40%.

For complete volumetric loosening of the soil, a new chisel subsoiler was developed at Scientific production center of agricultural engineering, the working body of which has a vertical stand, two plowshares and 3 chisels 52 mm wide.

The increase in the traction resistance of the working body when installing three bits instead of one was 25-30%. Such an insignificant increase in resistance is associated with the mutual influence of adjacent bits on the performance of the technological process - when the working body moves in front of the bits, an advanced chip of the soil spreads, both in the longitudinal and transverse directions. As a result, the chisels and plowshares move in the zone of previously deformed soil.

During operation, the proposed subsoiler produces complete volumetric loosening of the soil without the formation of subsoil ridges. The soil fluffiness (increase in volume) is 13-15 cm, the soil density in the processing zone is in the range of 0.9-1.2 g / cm3.

At present, chisel subsoilers RF-2.4 are manufactured at the Scientific production center of agricultural engineering and are sold to agricultural producers.
