Variety of spring barley of the brewing direction "Ular" was bred by scientists of the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Plant Growing. The authors of the variety are Sariyev B.S., Zhundibayev K. K and Baimuratov A.Zh.

Variety "Ular" was created by individual breeding from a hybrid population - BI-5 x Arna.

• The growing season is 90-100 days,

• Weight of 1000 grains - 49.0 g.,

• The content of crude protein in grain is 12.1%,

• Starch - 60.0%,

• Extractivity - 73.0%,

• Resistant to early spring frosts, lodging.

The average grain yield of the “Ular” variety is 41.6 c / ha.

Variety "Ular" is included in the State register of breeding achievements, approved for use in the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2015 in the Almaty region.
