NASEC JSC subsidiary - Kazakh Research Institute of Cotton Growing LLP has created three varieties of alfalfa that are adapted to the conditions of the Turkestan region and produce a high yield.
The breeding work of Kazakh Research Institute of Cotton Growing LLP is aimed at creating high-yielding, multi- mowing, disease-resistant, medium salinity, varieties of irrigating alfalfa.
The breeding and seed-growing work is determined by the need in the Turkestan region, since many sown varieties are not viable and die out in the second year of life. For many years, starting from the 90s, work on this culture was not carried out. Existing varieties were lost and new ones were not created.
