Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute plan to sow 289.6 ha at its regional branch “Kainar”

In the current year the scientists of the “Kazakh Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute” LLP is subsidiary of the “National Agrarian Science and Educational Center” JSC plan to plant 289.6 hectares in its regional branch “Kainar”. In this branch there are 451 hectares of arable land.

Experts of “KazFVRI” LLP pruned a fruiting garden (apple tree) of 5 hectares. Also, scientists made water retention on an area of ​​120 hectares of arable land and 44 hectares of perennial grasses.

In the “Kainar” branch of “KazFVRI” LLP, spring barley is sown. Of the 97 hectares to date, 32 hectares have been sown.

Inter-row treatment is carried out on onions crops of the 2nd year, area - 2 hectares.

To date, spring plowing has been carried out on an area of 40 hectares.

Specialists of the regional branch "Kainar" prepare seed material of potatoes for planting and seeds of vegetable crops for sowing. Potato is being sorted. As of March 31, 2020, 96 tons of potatoes were sorted out of the planned 140 tons.

Greenhouses are being prepared for growing seedlings (tomato, cabbage). Inter-row cultivation was carried out on garlic crops (0.7 ha), mineral fertilizer was added. Preparations are underway for sowing 1-year onions on an area of 1 ha.
