On January 27, 2020 Chairman of the Board of NASEC JSC T.Rakhimbekov held a meeting with the representative of the company "ASTANA AGROPRODUCT" S.Rakhimbayev on the introduction of new technologies in the field of veterinary medicine.

During the meeting T.Rakhimbekov was presented a pilot project on the introduction of immunochromatographic analysis (IHA) method in the diagnosis of animal brucellosis and came with a proposal to NASEC to support the project in order to introduce this technology in Kazakhstan in the future.

In particular, it is proposed to introduce a certified digital system for the diagnosis of brucellosis and other animal diseases based on the immunochromatographic analysis method, which includes highly sensitive and specific tests (validated on MEB standards), as well as a hardware and software complex allowing to carry out research within a strict and traceable framework, in which it is impossible to carry out research incorrectly.

“I would like to note the relevance of the topic of digitalization of agro-industrial complex by modernizing the system of diagnosis of veterinary diseases in Kazakhstan. Today our scientists are working on the introduction of progressive technologies in veterinary medicine and this project is one of the good proposals for the development of new solutions in the industry,” T. Rakhimbekov said.

During the meeting, representatives of the Kazakh Research Institute of Veterinary and the Republican Animal Husbandry Enterprise “Asyl-Tulik” expressed their opinion on the discussed topic.

At the end of the meeting, the management team of NASEC supported the project and the parties agreed on further cooperation.
