          Nur-Sultan, March 1, 2020, the republican seminar “Innovative technologies - sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex”, organized by the National Agrarian Science and Educational Center was launched in KazATU. 

NASECJSC, following its mission “Promote the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan by increasing the practical effect of agricultural science and providing the agricultural industry with highly qualified personnel”, has developed a program of training seminars for both its employees and specialists of agricultural producers of the country by creating interactive platforms based on its subsidiaries, which is fully consistent with one of the main activities of company - improving the scientific and personnel potential of the agro-industrial complex.

          The republican seminar was attended by leadership of NASEC subsidiaries, chief engineers and agronomists, leading scientists, agricultural producers, financial institutions of the agro-industrial complex, senior students of agronomy and engineering departments of KazATU named after S.Seifullin.

         Within the framework of the seminar program, a two-day course will be held on the following relevant topics: “Park of agricultural machines in the era of digitalization”, “Syngenta - the world leader in agribusiness”, “Range of products for seed protection in Kazakhstan”, “Projects for seed farms - financing in equipment for seed treatment”, “Innovative approaches in managing grain crops in the Republic of Kazakhstan: Alto Super / Amistar Technology”, “Mineral fertilizers - the key to high yields”, “The role of leaf fertilizing and their advantages”, “Breeding and seed production equipment. From sowing to harvesting”, “Trend in the development of equipment for the preparation and storage of seed material”.

         The Chairman of the Board of NASEC JSC T. Rakhimbekov greeted the participants and noted that a meeting of the chief specialists of NASEC subsidiaries with representatives of the world's largest agricultural machinery manufacturers will help to understand the direction in which world science, agricultural technology, in particular, is entering into a dialogue with a lecturer in the process of hearing.

          Toleutai Rakhimbekov also spoke about the work of the NASEC for the commercialization of scientific research results: “Science transfers its results to the Center for Transfer and Commercialization of Agricultural Technologies. The Center enters into licensing agreements with farmers and receives royalties from them for the use of intellectual property, which will be distributed as follows: scientists are paid 30% of the amount of royalties; Research institutes are obtained 30%; 40% are credited to the New Research Fund. The potential amount of royalties is about 10 billion tenge per year, of which 3 billion would be paid to scientists, and 7 billion tenge would be directed to new scientific developments. This year it is planned to bring the volume of royalties to 700 million tenge.”

          Within the framework of seminar, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation were signed between NASEC and manufacturers of agricultural equipment “Rostselmash Service Center”, Wintersteiger AG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, and Amazonen-Werke.

          All participants of the republican seminar were awarded certificates of completion.
