A new, promising soybean variety “VIKTORY” was bred in the subsidiary of Non-commercial JSC “NASEC”.

New soybean variety “VIKTORY” was bred in “Kazakh Research institute of agriculture and plant growing” LLP by individual selection from an introduced population using modern biochemistry and physiology methods.

The authors of the variety are A.V. Ageyenko, T.M. Dosmukhambetov, A.O. Sagitov, V.M. Ageyenko, V.V. Ageyenko, Sh.O. Bastaubayeva, S.V. Didorenko, M.S. Kudaibergenov and A.I. Abugaliyeva.

    Morphological description of new soybean variety: Plant height 80-90 cm. Attachment height of lower beans 12-14 cm. Type of growth determinant. Pubescence is gray. The corolla color is white. Seeds are spherical in shape. The weight of 1000 seeds are 150-160 g. The color of the seeds is yellow, the surface is smooth, matte. Rib yellow.

Qualitative characteristics: The variety belongs to the mid-ripening group (II ripeness group), the growing season is 130-135 days. The grain yield is 45-55 c / ha, the protein content in the grain is 38.8%, the oil content is 22.1%, the oleic acid content is 32%. Do not lodging.

Features of the variety are drought tolerant, high oleic.

The variety is intended for cultivation in the Almaty region.
