On May 12, 2020, was held the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the project “Improving Postgraduate Education in the Field of Sustainable Agriculture and Agricultural Systems of the Future”. The meeting of the Steering Committee was attended by experts of the “National Agrarian Science and Educational Center, which was held online on the Zoom platform.

The meeting was attended by organizers and partners: from the Higher School of Economics and the Environment Nürtingen-Geislingen, Germany; Warsaw University of Life Sciences-SGGW, Poland; German Institute of Agriculture in the Tropics and Subtropics, Germany; Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague; Estonian University of Life Sciences, Estonia; Stavropol State Agrarian University, Russia; Novosibirsk State Agrarian University, Russia; Buryat State Academy of Agriculture, Russia; Yakutsk State Agricultural Academy, Russia; S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, Kazakhstan; Kazakh National Agrarian University, Kazakhstan; Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technology University; A. Baitursynov Kostanay State University; National Center for Vocational Accreditation, Russia; Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency, Kazakhstan; National Agrarian Science and Educational Center, Kazakhstan; Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia.

The meeting programs included the following issues:

Overview of events held from February to May: an overview of created the modular working groups. The results of a situational analysis in partner countries were discussed.

Planning activities for the development of SAGRIS modules: planning the first meeting of Interuniversity working groups on module development, including methodological seminars.

Coordination of methodological approaches in the development of SAGRIS modules: development of a module template and coordination of methodological approaches.

Quality control plan: clarification of quality control tasks (in relation to internal and external evaluation), coordination of assigned responsibilities, review of the quality management plan and quality indicators.

The discussion, results and the following stages of the Work packages were held.
