On April 24, at 4 p.m., an online consultation was held by experts of A.I. Barayev Scientific-production center for grain farming on the practical experience of using precision farming elements in the northern region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the period during the spring field work.

Skoblikov Vladimir Fedorovich, a scientific consultant spoke about the theoretical principles of precision farming as a high-tech digitalization system for crop cultivation. Zabolotskikh Vladimir Vladimirovich, senior researcher, candidate of agricultural sciences in his speech drew attention to the technical equipment: instrumentation and agricultural equipment used to introduce precision farming elements in practice. He also showed the comparative effectiveness of precision farming technology in comparison with the traditional one, calculated on the basis of the results of two years of experience in using a precision farming landfill with an area of ​​3000 hectares, created on the basis of A.I. Barayev SPCGF.

Alexander Lissenovich, a research assistant, also participated in the consultation with a presentation on the review of software products used for precision farming and GIS technologies, which are used in practice in organizing work at the precision farming landfill.

The live consultancy was attended by 14 participants, farmers and agricultural specialists from the northern regions. The experts also answered questions of interest to the participants: on equipping sensors of agricultural machinery used for precision farming; equipment for differential application of fertilizers and plant protection products; indicators of the effectiveness of precision farming technologies.
