On May 21, 2020 head of Aktobe region Ondasyn Urazalin visited “Aktubinskaya Agricultural Experimental Station” LLP.

“Aktubinskaya Agricultural Experimental Station” LLP is a subsidiary of the “National Agrarian Science and Educational Center” JSC, the main task of the experimental station is the innovative development of the region's agro-industrial complex by increasing the practical effect of agricultural science.

       Scientists of “AAES” LLP are working on the introduction of innovative approaches in agriculture to increase the yield of varieties, the creation of demonstration sites on the basis of pilot farms for testing and introducing the new technologies, conducting domestic and foreign research and development for the development of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Until 2020 the agricultural machinery fleet of the experimental station has been in a worn state, which limited the enterprise in sowing work in a quality and timely manner.

Thus, to solve this issue, in 2020 at the expense of the funds of the “NASEC” JSC were purchased 14 units of modern equipment in amount of 491.9 million tenge, and by the end of this year it is planned to purchase another 6 units of equipment in the amount of 216, 8 million tenge. All equipment meets modern requirements and allows to carry out agricultural work in a quality and timely manner.

       The head of “AAES” LLP Ermek Zhumagazin informed the head of the region about the results of the enterprise’s work and further plans for its development. In particular, the head of the enterprise presented three projects to the akim of the region, which, when introduced into production, will give a tangible economic effect and help in developing the economy and bringing enterprise to profitability, and this applies to the departments of agriculture and fodder crops - laying an irrigated area of ​​170 hectares. For sheep and horse breeding, it is proposed to lay their own herd in an amount of at least 42 pieces for growing and selling highly productive young “mugalzharskiy” type of Aktobe breed and creating a flock of sheep in an amount of at least 300 pieces for development and sale for breeding of Kazakh fat tail semi-coarse breed (Aktobe type).

       In turn, the head of the region supported the proposed ideas and instructed the Akimat and the Department of Agriculture to work out as soon as possible jointly with the experts of the experimental station a road map for the implementation of these projects with plans, terms and costs for its implementation and present all this head of the region to determine the source of financing for the implementation these projects.

Akim of the region positively assessed the activities of “AAES” LLP and emphasized the significant contribution of the enterprise to the development of the region.

With the assistance of the regional akimat, a proposal was made to restore irrigated lands, as well as the areas of sheep and horse breeding.
